Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum

Ever wondered why we celebrate the most momentous moments of our life by popping open a bottle of pricey champagne or cognac? Considered to be the rich man’s poison, here is one more juicy intoxicating news that will leave you more than bewildered. You can raise a toast for signing a billion dollar deal by sipping on to $2,500 shot of the Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum. Exclusively being offered at Rose Club at The Plaza hotel, the price for a single shot is equivalent to average monthly rent for an apartment in New York. The exclusivity of this Remy Martin-produced spirit is raised further by the fact that it cannot be sampled anywhere else in the State of New York.
Designed by Baccarat and hand-blown from black crystal, this bottle has not yet been uncorked since it was introduced in June. With simple calculations (32 pours in the 1.75 liter bottle at the rate of $2,500.) you can say that the whole bottle costs a whopping $80,000. However the bottle as whole is not up for sale.

The good folks at Undefeated along with Union LA, Stussy, Stones Throw, Fiji Water, and Converse will be playing host this Friday the 28th in celebration of Black Friday, the day where American’s wipe out their savings accounts. Along with a block party, Undefeated will be dropping a collabo t-shirt in conjunction with DJ AM and will be accepting donations of non-perishable items for the LA Mission, aiding those less fortunate during the holidays. The event will take place from Noon until 6 pm with a performance by various acts The Blackouts, Dam Funk, Nosaj Thing and DJ AM.

iPhone Projector

Engadget reports that Texas Instruments' DLP Pico Projector will launch on December 1st for sale in Apple Stores in Japan. The miniature projector allows you to display a 60-inch 480x320 video image from up to 8.5 feet away.
David Pogue took an early look at the device and was impressed:
You'd have to be a jaded gizmophile indeed not to be impressed the first time you turn on this tiny, shiny black box. In the center of the short end, there's a very bright light-emitting-diode lamp. Inside, there's a miniaturized Texas Instruments digital-light-processing (D.L.P.) chip, similar in principle to the ones that drive some full-size HDTV sets. Together, they produce an astonishingly bright, clear, vivid video or still image. That's right -- from a projector you've pulled from your jeans pocket.
No word on when the projector will be available in the U.S. It will retail for about U.S. $511 in Japan.
