Nike Air Max 1 2009 “Year of the Ox”
With the 2009 zodiac calendar focusing on the year of the ox, Nike has changed it up once again with their commemorative shoe to mark the event. While the Air Force 1 was utilized during the early inception for “Year of the” shoes, we’ve seen some different models as of late including the Wildwood 90 Free and most recently the Air Max 1. The highlight of the shoe is the direct reference seen on the heel with 3D rays centered around a golden ox.

But now that 808s & Heartbreak is out, homie probably has a little more time on his hands. So what would a day in the life of Kanye the fashion intern entail? HUMAN AFTER ALL...
Daft Punk’s Electroma is a cult classic film directed by the legendary French Electronic duo. The plot revolves around two robots trek across the American landscape and their quest to become more human. The film is engulfed in the groups signature synthesizer stabs and bleeps as it’s soundtrack and score backdrop. If you have yet to see the film you’re not alone. The movie never formally debuted on screens, only enjoying a few festival and tour screenings as well as a DVD and Blu Ray distribution. However, this Friday you can view the film for free for one night only by setting your web browser to PitchforkTV. The movie will be shown on the site on Friday, December 12th 8 p.m. EST and concludes precisely 24 hours later, aka 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th. "I Dream, Therefore I Become"
“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other”
Founded in 1973 in the Swiss capital of Geneva, the Imaginary Foundation was created by a group of diverse free thinkers spanning many different backgrounds. With a goal of eliminating “set conventions in favor of the humorous, the abstract and the visionary”, the group preaches this philosophy 35 years later with a number of unconventional forms of expression. Later this month, the IF will present a series of oil paintings and sculptures at Los Angeles’ SURU art space. Musical performances will include DJ Nitedog and a live performance by the Drumming astronaut.
The event takes place Saturday, December 13th at 7 pm.
