THEY DID THEIR THING!!!!
Got there a little late, but got in around 10:45. Luckly they didn't take the stage at 10:30 like originally planned. Around 11, Jermaine Dupri came on stage. Introduced DJ AM and Travis Barker as they took the stage. They put on an hour show and burned through about 50 songs. They rocked all genres from Daft Punk to Lil Wayne. Electro to Oldies to Hip Hop to Rock. THEY PUT ON AN AMAZING SHOW! Loved the flow and transitions on the music. Just as the crowd gets tired of rocking to the music, they'd drop another heater that would get everyone going again. I would def. goto their show next month if I wasn't outta the country. As they mixed their set, they dropped Blow the Whistle by Too $hort. Low and behold...Too $hort pops up from behind the project backdrop and does his thing..."what's my favorate word...BITCH, why you gotta say it like $hort!".
Night ended earlier than expected. Most of the crowd left right after they ended their set around midnight. Not bad at all. I couldn't have asked for better timing...got home to get some rest before doing it again tonight.
